Y'all what ain't from around here may not be aware of how we do police chases in the South, but let me tell you, fella, we do it a bit like this:

A North Carolina man wielding a knife and blasting the Dukes of Hazzard theme song while driving a stolen tractor has been taken into custody after leading police on a wild chase.

Town of Boone Police Department said they received a call about a John Deere tractor 'being driven erratically in a parking lot trying to hit pedestrians' at about 9am Tuesday morning and named Ronnie Hicks as the driver.

Footage of the incident shows Hicks ploughing down stop signs and swerving past incoming traffic while he is pursued by several cops to the intersection of Route 421.

A tractor police chase? Now I done heard about everything.
