I usually loathe articles with "epic" in the title. I mean, is it really an epic fail when a kid wipes out on his skateboard? I usually reserve this adjective for larger things - like in the case of failure, those responsible for the engineering of the Titanic. That was epic.
Keep that in mind, then, as I preface this video. It's Hollywood-quality stuff. Seriously, whoever made this video should get a pay raise, because this over-the-top drama and riveting soundtrack is way better than most things on TV these days.
Without further ado, I present: Trump II: Return to the White House:
The short clip plays out like the pivotal scene of a Tom Clancy movie: the leader of the free world has been hospitalized with a virus that has brought the globe to a standstill. Millions wait with bated breath, wondering when and if he will return to the White House. Then, out of nowhere, a faint silhouette appears against the clouds, accompanied by the distinct thump of helicopter blades cutting through the sky. With a crescendo of music, the helicopter lands and the president steps off. He surveys the landscape, making sure everyone knows he has conquered death. Slowly, he ascends the steps of the White House, ready to Make America Great Again.
It‘s so cheesy, so ridiculous, and so good at the same time.
Upon his return to the White House, Trump also left a short message telling Americans, "Don‘t let coronavirus dominate your life."
I'm glad to see the president is feeling better. Now it's back to the circus that is the election. Olé!
