In dramatic video captured by local business owner Joey Fago, a number of people can be seen hurriedly exiting a beached boat as law enforcement descends via helicopter, boat, and on local roads.

Yeah when these folks hit the shore they just absolutely go for it. Their tactic was apparently, "When we land, um, run."

According to local media, most of the immigrants were from Haiti. The captain of the boat was arrested on "two counts of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer" due to the boat-ramming incident.

The illegal immigrants "will be processed and repatriated," the sheriff said.
