Sure, we're all upset because the federal government's multitrillion-dollar printing spree over the past eighteen months has left us with the worst inflation we've seen in three decades. But don't worry you guys, another trillion bucks and the Biden administration'll have it all under control!
President Biden said the bipartisan infrastructure bill passed in the House of Representatives on Friday will lower the price of consumer goods, in a speech at the Baltimore port on Wednesday.
"Along with other plans that I'm advancing, this bill is going to reduce the cost of goods to consumers, businesses, and get people back to work, helping us build an economy . . . where everybody's better off," Biden said.
Oh really, the $1.2 trillion pork-laden bonanza will "reduce the cost of goods to consumers?" What about the trillions of dollars we printed since the start of last year? That worked out great, didn't it?
Ah well, maybe they'll give you another $900 stimulus check at some point in 2022. That'll take the sting off!
