With the click of a button, you can create AI images ... and then turn them into video.
Midjourney creates stunning computer-generated pics with just a few text prompts, then the Runway program has the ability to bring those pics to life.
We're quickly entering into a Wild West of art and video where you won't be able to tell what's real without seeing it for yourself!
But there are a few silver linings. Think of all the people outside woke Hollywood who could make stunning videos and movies for a fraction of a typical blockbuster budget.
Also think of the memes. This might be the key to taking down the Irish government!
Yeah, it's still in the uncanny valley. But it'll get there, and with a human finishing touch, it's gonna be wild.
And yes, I know it's going to be used for horrible things.
But like all tech, it can also be used for good. It can be used to make beautiful things, funny things - things that inspire the soul and make tyrants seethe.
(Mostly, it's going to be used for advertising.)
I don't want the killjoys and the sickos to own AI tech. It's here whether you like it or not. No, I want the dreamers, the faithful, and the visionaries to lead the way. If you're an artist and you want to glorify God in the digital age, what an opportunity (that Last Supper video was pretty dope!).
So yeah, count me in.
(Once, you know, they work out a few of the kinks.)
