Welcome to Third-World Philadelphia, where heavily-armed guards are required to secure a cheesesteak restaurant
· Sep 20, 2023 · NottheBee.com

Cheesesteaks are not Philadelphia's only claim to fame. They also boast one of the nation‘s highest crime rates, and with a Soros DA refusing to prosecute criminals, that's only gotten worse.

Philadelphia might be okay with having their DA churn criminals back out onto the streets while revoking bail for cops inappropriately charged for murder when using their firearms.

But when the city's two claims to fame cross paths, things get serious.

One popular cheesesteak restaurant has hired Pennsylvania agents armed with AR-15s to protect its customers and its cheesesteak.

The agents are off duty military and police officers licensed by the state of Pennsylvania to do armed security work.

Saul Landers, the CFO of Jim's West Steaks & Hoagies, said,

Our lines are down the block, so while you're standing here in line, connecting with other people you may not know, we have security right here just to keep you guys safe.

And there's good reason for the security: 8 homicides occurred in Jim's neighborhood this year, and one happened in the line of another cheesesteak joint.

Let's check in with how folks feel about armed security for their cheesesteak.

And of course the answer we all know is true:

The armed presence to combat crime is spreading throughout the city. Gas stations are also hiring security to guard their businesses.

I haven't seen this many heavily armed men guarding business since my last trip into Mexico, but that's what you have to do when your criminal justice system has become corrupted.

I'd hate to see what the Soros DA would do if one of these security guards actually had to use their weapon; I can't imagine it would go any better for them than police officers.

Hopefully it's not too late for these cities to wake up to the threat these leftist politicians pose to their lives and livelihoods.
