Former Penn State professor claims school wanted him to teach that English is racist and singled him out "for ridicule and humiliation" because he is white

This Penn State professor who worked at the school for 4 years is suing the university for racial discrimination.

During professional development training, or as we like to call them "DEI struggle sessions," De Piero and his colleagues were told that the English language is racist and white supremacist.

He also hat to sit through anti-white tirades from the CRT cultists who run these sorts of HR meetings.

Professor Zack De Piero "was individually singled out for ridicule and humiliation because of the color of his skin," the lawsuit, filed by The Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism (FAIR), said...

"When he complained about the continuous stream of racial insult directed at White faculty in the writing department, the director of the Affirmative Action Office told him that ‘There is a problem with the White race,' that he should attend ‘antiracist' workshops ‘until you get it,' and that he might have mental health issues," the lawsuit alleged.

These corporate and university trainings are all the same.

Someone from the campus DEI Office, Civil Rights Office, or Affirmative Action Office gets everyone from the department together and gets to go on a 90-minute long "anti-racist" tirade that's really just a racist attack against white people.

If you are a normal person and stand up against the racist hate spewed towards white people, or the condescension against white people, you will be called a racist and crazy.

That's exactly what happened to De Piero.

Some of the workshops included a presentation captioned "White Teachers are a Problem," according to the lawsuit.

"The ‘White Teachers are a Problem' video imposed on Penn State faculty… associated ‘White supremacy' with all the evils of the world," according to the suit.

De Piero explained in an interview with Fox News Digital that he was expected by the university to submit to antiracist brainwashing and doctrine, particularly that he as a White person was inherently flawed on the basis of history.

This isn't just at Penn State. This is at EVERY major University in the United States. Except now the schools in Florida and Texas have banned DEI departments.

But the other 48 states still have these explicitly racist trainings as mandatory requirements for employees.

He said the university wanted him to believe that "as a White individual, I'm somehow responsible for all the injustices and suffering currently in the world and in the history of the world."

This is quite literally what the Critical Race Theory movement is about. They've been pushing this for years across society.

This went beyond the normal racist tirades, however.

The affirmative action folks tried to push professors to grade based on affirmative action principals. That means punishing white students (and Asians) and rewarding black students.

His direct report in the English department, Liliana Naydan, "expressed her view that racism practiced against White faculty and students is legitimate," according to the lawsuit. Naydan did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The lawsuit alleged Nayd[a]n tried to coerce faculty to introduce equity into the grading process to ensure there weren't disparities by "penaliz[ing] students academically on the basis of race."

The Affirmative Action meeting also included a breathing exercise led by an employee of the DEI office that instructed people to "feel the pain" of George Floyd.

It was a white guilt and shame festival.

When Piero complained about being singled out and being assumed to be guilty of racism because of his skin color he was met with the threat of disciplinary action and poor performance reviews, according to his lawsuit.

This prompted the professor to leave the school and pursue the lawsuit, which I hope succeeds so civil rights can actually be respected again.
