Why is the media not showing the photo of the FEMA manager who told workers to ignore houses with Trump signs?

CBS News is making everyone think that this the woman who wanted to withhold aid to Trump supporters:

When this is the actual woman, Marn'i Washington:

The comment section was a bit feisty in response:

Let me play devil's advocate. The woman in CBS News's photo is Deanne Criswell, appointed by Joe Biden in 2021 to lead FEMA. She's the boss of the area manager who was fired.

It very well may be that someone in the newsroom picked a generic Getty photo from an online database and didn't think twice about the skin-color swap.

But it seems odd not to actually show the face of the fired woman. Especially when almost every outlet did the same thing:

When you combine that with the media's established habit of omitting or swapping a black offender's skin color …

… I'm a bit suspicious that this omission is because the media doesn't want Americans to see any black woman in a negative light, even when she did something wrong.
