This seems a little off, doesn't it?
Elon Musk, who is currently working with DOGE "on finding and fixing waste, fraud and abuse relating to the Internal Revenue Service," responded:
Sad to say it, but my mind goes directly to "this audit of Pete Hegseth is politically motivated" almost immediately here. It seems like every Trump appointee is a villain to the mainstream elite, and we all know what that means.
Let's not forget what the IRS was doing under Obama:
The IRS was previously embroiled in a political scandal under former President Barack Obama after it targeted conservative organizations over their political stances. The agency scrutinized groups that referred to ‘Tea Party,' ‘Patriots,' or said they wanted to ‘make America a better place to live.'
‘The IRS's use of these criteria as a basis for heightened scrutiny was wrong and should never have occurred,' then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in 2017, announcing a settlement over the incident. ‘It is improper for the IRS to single out groups for different treatment based on their names or ideological positions. Any entitlement to tax exemption should be based on the activities of the organization and whether they fulfill requirements of the law, not the policy positions adopted by members or the name chosen to reflect those views.'
So nothing new here with the Hegseth audit, should it be more of the same from the crooked Democrat playbook. Biden's term was essentially Obama's third, so we expected this kind of stuff.
Looks like Hegseth "owes" the IRS $33,558, which is a whole lot of money. If he owes it, he should pay it, and we should find out why this happened.
Again, this world we live in where everything is politically motivated and crooked doesn't really help in situations like this. He either owes that large sum of money and there's no funny business going on (besides that $33,588) or he was targeted by Biden because he's a threat to the system.
Conspiracy theories thrive in a system where truth is suppressed.
