It's that time of year again.
The time of year when French's introduces a disgusting new brand crossover frankenfood.
Last year was the Summer of the Ketchup Popsicle:
Followed closely after by the Mustard Donut:
This summer, they've come up with a new crossover treat, the limited edition French's mustard Skittles.
Yum?
I understand that these are all just marketing ploys (and French's only seems to have one marketing strategy) but my question is, does anyone actually eat these frankenfoods?
It doesn't appear that they'll be available for purchase in the wild, but they will be available at a few events over the summer in time for National Mustard Day on August 5th. So if you're a mustard fanatic, plan accordingly.
If you're not up for a road trip to obtain the special-edition Skittles, you can always enter to win some on the French's website. I'm not sure why you'd want to win, but some lucky dog out there will. Like, probably an actual dog, because I'm sure they're only fit to feed to your dog.
And if you're not up for weird mustard-flavored frankenfoods at all, well just don't follow French's marketing in future Summer's, because I can almost guarantee that next year they'll be back with a special edition Oreo filled with ketchup.
Or maybe mustard.
