A group of Yellowstone wolf watchers were tracking a pack of five black wolves through the sagebrush near Lamar Valley, when this happened:
An unnamed tourist walks right up to the wolves like...

According to SFGate,
... the video of the incident was posted on Nov. 13 in the Facebook group that chronicle bad behavior in the park, titled ‘Yellowstone National Park: Invasion of The Idiots!'
Keith Kerbs lives in Vancouver, Washington, and was passing through the park on a trip. He began filming as the wolves bounded toward the man.
He did the right thing when the wolves come at him though, waving his hands and yelling at them.
When the lead wolf gets too close, he sprays bear spray at it.
You can hear people taking the video really begin to worry when the man and the wolves disappear behind a ridge.
This could end very badly for that guy.
Yeah, you think?
What an idiot!
However, whatever backroom deals happened behind that ridge remain a mystery, as the wolves walk away one direction, and the man (still in one piece) goes another.
The man isn't completely out of danger yet. He did break the law by approaching the wolves in the first place.
‘If an animal moves closer to you, back away to maintain a safe distance,' according to a website on staying safe in Yellowstone. ‘It's illegal to willfully remain near or approach wildlife, including birds, within any distance that disturbs or displaces the animal.'
