Check it out: Two Texas cities now deliver ICE CREAM via drone 🤯
· Apr 26, 2022 · NottheBee.com

Rejoice! Blue Bell ice cream is now available via drone delivery, and that's the best news to come out of 2022 so far.

This is the most Texas thing I've heard since this story that I wrote last week:

Blue Bell ice cream is without a doubt the best ice cream on the market. It's definitely worth driving to Walmart for, but in case you're home-bound, you can now order it via drone. At least, you can if you live in Frisco or Little Elm, Texas.

The deliveries will be available via the delivery drone company, Wing.

Wing is planning to expand their delivery area based on demand, but the two North Dallas suburbs are off to a delicious start.

(Since we're talking Blue Bell you really need to try their vanilla bean ice cream. And no, this isn't a paid advertisement. I just really love their ice cream that much.)

Wing is also partnering with three other businesses in the area: Walgreens, easyvet, and Texas Health.

Like other delivery services, you place your order via an app, which then tracks the drone as it flies to your doorstep. The drone then lowers your order down and unclips it from a tether.

What a time to be alive.

The drones can carry up to three pounds, so don't expect to order an entire gallon of ice cream, but a pint or two should be enough to satisfy your Blue Bell craving!
