Okay, this is great:
Yup, just a black bear doing some grocery shopping.
This happened in Southern California at a Ralph's grocery store in the San Fernando Valley. Customers assumed someone's dog was in the store, but after a quick double take it was clear that, no, this was actually a bear.
Ralph's employees quickly chased the black bear outside, and if the little guy got anything to eat I'm sure he'll Venmo the store.
Apparently black bears are more scared of us than we are of them (not sure how I feel about that) and they usually run away when chased.
The 120-pound furball was later tranquilized behind a nearby Walmart, where I'm sure he was looking for more food, and will hopefully be relocated to somewhere where there's not a grocery store nearby.
