Alright guys, are we ready to have an adult conversation about certain elements of the Catholic Church in America, particularly the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops?
Watch this clip of Bishop Mark Seitz, who went on CBS to attack President Trump for securing the border and protecting his countrymen from foreign invasion.
We have to speak to many of these [immigration] policies which we see as going against some of the basic tenants of our faith, frankly — the fundamental right of every human person that need to be respected, no matter their origin, no matter their situation.
There's nothing in Trump's policy that disrespects the human dignity of anyone, of course. Every human has dignity and worth, and that doesn't change when they're sent back to their home country.
These are just catchphrases to guilt people for securing the safety and wellbeing of their nation. Notice that the good bishop provides zero Scriptural support for why his personal views on mass migration are in line with God Almighty versus Trump's policies. Instead, he pretends to be a moderate while cloaking himself in the spiritual authority of the Catholic Church and the name of Jesus Christ to enact the ideology of the secular far-left.
Other than the lack of "trans kids" stuff, his attack angle isn't much different than the woke lady who used her sermon to attack Trump.
The only real difference here is, unfortunately, a perverse incentive angle.

Yes, the group that Bishop Seitz is representing here is bringing in hundreds of millions of United States taxpayer dollars annually.
Purportedly, these funds are to shelter refugees and asylum seekers and fight against human trafficking. In reality, these funds are used to aid in trafficking people into the U.S. under the guise of resettling refugees.
Texas AG Ken Paxton is currently before the Texas Supreme Court with a lawsuit aimed at shutting down a program run by Bishop Seitz's diocese called Annunciation House, which is running "stash houses" that hide illegal aliens from authorities.

Progressivism, globalism, and open borders has hollowed out the Catholic religion and worn it as a skin suit to promote a leftist agenda and the societal collapse of the United States.
But they'll tell you it's mercy, empathy, and human dignity.
You'd think, in the name of honesty, transparency, and fair dealings that the good Bishop would have mentioned the millions his group was receiving from the government because of the open border policies.
Just kidding, leftist subversives are going to subvert!
