Cruz brings serious heat to hearing on campus antisemitism: “You will see the Trump administration prosecute”

Earlier this week, the Senate Judiciary Committee hosted a hearing to discuss the alarming rise of coordinated and centrally funded antisemitism on college and university campuses. While it was illuminating and frightening to hear the testimony of several of the witnesses, the highlight had to be this tour de force by Texas Senator Ted Cruz who, it seems, is not overly impressed with the Hamas-sympathizing Hitler brigades pushing a Holocaust sequel on federally-funded campuses.

Check this out:

Live look at Ted Cruz right now:

Cruz is an articulate, impassioned speaker most of the time, but this was a step up from that. This was downright fiery and prompts a question that every American, but particularly every Jewish American should be asking themselves: why is the Democrat Party now so hesitant to support the safety and dignity of Jewish people?

  • No investigation into the funding of these antisemite hate rallies.

  • No indictments for the funding or fomenting of these antisemite hate rallies.

  • No cutting of federal funding or threats to cut federal funding of universities permitting these antisemite hate rallies.

This isn't whataboutism and performance art by Cruz - it's a legitimate and very damning observation. The analogy the Senator uses isn't unrelated or gratuitous. Everyone understands that individuals comprising hate groups like the KKK may have individualized free speech rights in America. That doesn't equate to having the right to call for the death of black people on the taxpayer dime, and the Biden administration would have wasted no time in capitalizing on that fact.

The same could be said for other groups of citizens. Imagine if Jerry Falwell's Liberty University actually morphed into the absurd caricature that leftists have always pretended it is, and had students protesting on campus, calling for the execution of all gays, lebsians, bisexuals, and trangenders. Is there anyone who doubts for a second that the Biden Administration would have taken immediate action?

So why did the Biden Administration do nothing to curb the growth of these Hitler block parties on campus? Was it financial? Was it ideological? Was it fear? Or maybe it's time to acknowledge that the modern Democrat Party has become a haven for Hamas-sympathizing, terrorist-placating, antisemites that either needs a political delousing or needs to disband.

Perhaps we should let Senator Cruz decide?
