For years, I've been pointing out the undeniable fact that Joe Biden has been an utter screw-up on foreign policy for his entire career.
Sure, he's also been terrible on domestic policy too ...
Here's a quick list of Biden's failures before he became President of the United States:
- He opposed the Strategic Defense Initiative under Ronald Reagan which aided the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War.
- He was opposed to the largely successful first Gulf War in 1991, and supported the invasion of Iraq in 2002. He now claims he opposed it from the start.
- He opposed the successful raid that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden.
- He bolstered the drone war which resulted in countless civilian casualties across the Middle East.
Then Joe Biden became president, after which Russia invaded Ukraine, we watched the deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the return of Obama-esque foreign policy that involves trying to bribe terrorist states into not trying to kill us, all of which laid the groundwork for the Hamas attacks of October 7.
And in what is arguably the worst foreign policy move of Joe Biden's career — and yes, that's saying something — he has now decided to cut off offensive military aid to Israel after their inevitable and entirely justified invasion of Hamas's last stronghold, Rafah.
Setting aside the obvious hypocrisy — Joe Biden said in 2019 that cutting off military aid to Israel would be preposterous and "beyond [his] comprehension" — what are we missing here?
We can argue all day long over whether or not the United States should provide any military support to any nation — Ukraine, Israel, or otherwise. But one thing is non-negotiable: Joe Biden's job is to act in the best interests of American citizens.
And I know this might upset the Tucker Carlsons of the world, but Americans were targeted on October 7 by Hamas. Based on available data, at least 32 Americans were killed, while six Americans remain hostage in Gaza (if they are even still alive).
Joe Biden ran on his promise to be president for all Americans. So why don't these Americans count?
With Hamas on the ropes, why is Joe Biden putting American lives in Gaza at risk by trying to hamstring an American ally in what can only be described as a gift for a terrorist group responsible for the death of Americans?
If this is being done in return for a hug from The Squad and a few thousand votes in Michigan, it's obvious that in Joe Biden's eyes, Americans in Israel aren't all that valuable to our current Commander-in-Chief.
