Men can't be women.
90% of college kids think a statement like that is actual violence.
I want you to stop and think about the implications here. Your response when it finally hits you should be something like this:
From the FIRE poll:
Let's give the kids the benefit of the doubt. Most of them were taught in the waning days of the propaganda mills we call "public education," and don't know how to parse out nuance and inference if it smacked them in the face.
The prompt is not saying that words can lead to violence, or that there are violent words. The question is asking if the words themselves are violence.
The right answer is:

Words don't literally kill people. If I say that transgenderism is a mental disease caused by man's sinful rebellion against God that desires to warp God's lawful order for perverse sexual ends, and is therefore an abomination (Deuteronomy 22:5), I am not actually "genociding trans people."
But Charlie Kirk was literally shot in the neck for suggesting that transgenderism is unhealthy and wrong. How do I know?
Because Charlie was assassinated after a question on transgenderism, and the suspect (who said he was tired of Charlie's "hatred") had a transgender boyfriend.
"When people start thinking that words can be violence, violence becomes an acceptable response to words," FIRE Chief Research Advisor Sean Stevens said in response to the poll results.
The poll reveals more of the purpose of the rhetoric used by leftists when they accuse normal, everyday Americans of being "fascist" for disagreeing with leftwing ideology.
They say your speech is violence. Then they say you are a Nazi.
Tell me, what course of action is justified when one meets a violent Nazi?
Many Americans still do not know that the man arrested for Charlie's murder is a radical leftwing gay man with a trans boyfriend who was into "furry" stuff.
Many don't even know that the suspect arrested for murdering UnitedHealthcare's CEO in cold blood is a leftist, or that the J6 pipe bomb suspect is a black guy with a "My Little Pony" obsession, or that mobs of leftwing protesters are actively calling for the assassination of conservative leaders almost every hour of the day.
They probably haven't seen our running coverage of leftwing violence that has exploded in recent years.
Almost no one even hears of these stories unless you read rightwing media:
So its no wonder that more college students believe rightwing violence is slightly more prevalent:
28% of students said using violence to stop a campus speaker they disagree with is justified on some level.
When asked what kind of violence would be acceptable, that group answered like this:
Translation: Roughly 1-in-3 college kids think it's okay to hurt you to stop you from exercising free speech. 20% of those young adults think assaulting you is justified, 26% think throwing rocks at you is acceptable, and nearly 10% think stabbing or shooting you is fair game (but "only" 7% think murder is justified).
Feel free to read the whole report for more goodies, and pray for a way to end the mass indoctrination of our nation's young adults ... before it's too late.
