Adam Hadwin finished twelfth in the Canadian Open this past weekend, but that wasn't the worst blow he took on Sunday.

Hadwin, a Canadian, had changed into his street clothes to witness his buddy and fellow Canadian Nick Taylor compete in a four-round playoff for the title.

Eventually, the Canadian was able to edge out his competition, sinking a 72-foot putt to seal the deal. Taylor became the first Canadian to win the Canadian Open since 1954, so this was obviously a huge deal to his friend Adam Hadwin, his fellow Canadian.

So after the putt, Adam Hadwin stormed the green with a shaken-up bottle of champagne to celebrate with his buddy, or guy, or whatever they say in Canada. But here's the thing: The security guard had no idea who Hadwin was โ€” he was in his street clothes, remember โ€” and the results of this are just as beautiful as you'd expect.

Security was just tryna do their jobs, of course, so hopefully Hadwin isn't too harsh with them. ๐Ÿ˜‚
