UPDATE:
It's been confirmed.
At first glance last night, I thought for sure Aaron Rodgers just had a cramp, maybe pulled a muscle at most on his fourth play from scrimmage. However, when I saw this replay, I realized dude might be done for the season, and that would be just sad.
Watch:
You see how the entire calf just sort of snapped like a rubber band? That could be the end of not only his season, but his career if he so decides (he's getting up there). The injury, if serious, would take 4-6 months to heal, and that's well past the date of the Super Bowl.
The Jets were supposed to be the team to beat in the AFC, and they looked it last night even without Rodgers. Without him, though, in the long run, I fear another average season is upon them.
So if this ends up being a serious injury, there's only one hope for the Jets.
Make the call, Tom.
Make the call.
We all needed this Jets bandwagon; it was the story of the year.
