Alec Baldwin made the news again this week. Don't worry, nobody died (this time). The actor just got into a car wreck, hitting a tree while swerving to avoid hitting a garbage truck.
The volatile former star of 30 Rock was driving with his brother, Stephen, in the car in the swanky Hamptons area of New York when the accident occurred.
Fox News has additional details:
Stephen's rep shared a statement with Fox News Digital: 'Stephen is doing fine and is grateful no one was injured. He appreciates the concern and he can confirm that he and Alec are both safe and well,' the rep said.
Alec took to Instagram to recap the crash and share that he's 'fine.'
'This morning, I was in a car accident. I'm fine,' he began.
Interestingly, the car Baldwin wrecked wasn't his own, but his wife's.
Alec alleged that a garbage truck the 'size of a whale' cut him off while he was driving his wife, Hilaria Baldwin's, car.
'To avoid hitting him, I hit a big fat tree and crushed my wife's car. I crushed my wife's car — I feel bad about that.'
'That's all fine, and I'm fine, and my brother's fine. My wife's car is pretty smashed up. Big tree, big fat tree,' Alec said.
Not sure they make garbage trucks the size of whales, but Alec may have just been exaggerating for storytelling purposes. He's an actor, after all.
Hilaria's had a rough week, first getting eliminated from Dancing with the Stars and now having her husband trash her Range Rover.
