Seriously — is it normal for this to happen more than once in a month?
A train containing one car of hazardous materials has derailed Thursday in Van Buren Township outside Detroit, Michigan, reports say.
The cause of the derailment was not immediately clear.
Police have claimed that there were "no injuries" and the area "is not a hazmat situation." That's good (though I'm not sure how much confidence I have in the nation's transportation authorities after the past week or two).
The situation thankfully does appear to be less serious than the disaster in Ohio:
Still — two train derailments involving hazardous materials within the span of about two weeks?
