AOC just spent over $1.4 MILLION on "Tax The Rich" merch to sell in her online store 🤦‍♀️

Sometimes these so-called socialists just make it too easy to mock them and their terrible ideas.

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, better known as AOC, just spent over $1.4 million on her political merchandise which includes the ironic "Tax The Rich" swag.

AOC has been called a "socialist superstar" by the Democratic Socialists of America and for some reason no one sees the hypocrisy of selling products with the help of capitalism.

Her campaign paid a political merchandise firm named Financial Innovations to operate and supply merch for her online store.

$1.4 million was paid in just the first six months of this year according to the Federal Election Commission.

I repeat, that's $1.4 million for merch like T-shirts, socks and stickers – and again, that's just for the first six months of 2021.

That's one hefty budget for a socialist!

The $1.4 million is about twice the amount AOC's campaign paid Financial Innovations over the past two years. And it's more than lawmakers usually spend on their entire re-election campaign during this period, according to Reuters.

AOC's official online shop is selling "Tax The Rich" merch for $27-$58, which she was already heavily ridiculed for last year, and it was hilarious.

This democratic socialist has also attracted top contributors from the deepest depth of capitalism: Amazon donated $62,212 in 2019-2020.

You would think AOC wouldn't want to touch that dirty capitalist money.

But I guess you would also think AOC would rather spend over a million dollars on something a little more worthwhile than socks and T-shirts.
