"Defund the Police" advocate Ayanna Pressley spent a totally measly sum of $63,000 on security in 2021

Police for everyone? 🤬

Private security for the elites? 🤤

Ayanna "Defund the Police" Pressley spent $63,000 of taxpayer money on private security in 2021, the Daily Caller reports:

According to the new Statement of Disbursements of the House records, Pressley spent $63,000 of her Member Representational Allowance (MRA) on "security service" in 2021 — spending $28,000 between Oct. 1, 2021 and Dec. 31, 2021 and $35,000 between May 2021 and August 2021.

The payments show the money was directed to Alisa Tatarian, who is a Financial Administrator at the U.S. House of Representatives. It is not clear how that money was finally spent. The Daily Caller contacted Tatarian as well as Pressley's office several times about the money that was spent on "security service," to which they did not respond.

Pressley has frequently advocated for defunding, abolishing, reimagining, or whatever-ing the police for a while now.

And I say "whatever-ing the police" because Leftists often try to convince us their ideas aren't insane by playing semantical games as if we need clarification on what everyone heard them say in plain English.

I imagine for this story they'd say: "WELL ASKHUALLY, police is not the same as private security."

The reality is, many people don't have money (much less $63,000) to spend on private security. For almost everyone, the police are the closest they're ever going to get to private security.

Go ahead and file this unsurprising story right alongside the BLM movement co-founder going on a mansion-buying spree.

"Equity" for thee, not for me.
