I'm old enough to remember October when Joe Biden said you can't govern by executive order "unless you're a dictator."
Welp, in his first week and a half in office, Biden signed 42 executive orders, memos, and proclamations, outstripping every other president in history by about a hundred miles. You could count the orders of most presidents during the same timeframe on one hand, even with the growing trend of governing by executive fiat.
Translation: This number is insane.
I mean, does Congress even matter anymore?
