Four insane Chinese guys decided to down nearly 70 pounds of oranges in an airport to avoid paying luggage fees.

Apparently, a man named Mr. Wang and his three business associates bought a large crate of oranges on a business trip in Kunming for about $7 before flying home.

The box weighed 30kg, or 66 pounds. Figuring your average orange weighs more or less a pound, that's a lot of fruit.

The men were informed that it would cost them about $50 to check as luggage on the plane, so they decided it wasn't worth the effort.

Instead, they did what any rational person would do: they decided to chow down on the entire box, consuming an ungodly amount of citrus fruit.

It took about 30 minutes for the men to peel and eat the fruit, after which they reported sores in their mouth from the acid.

That's probably not the only place they had sores 😩

I'm all for not wasting money, but my goodness.

I bet they won't be wanting any more oranges for a while.
