Factory Reset Girl is back!

If you missed it, last week this TikTok lass went viral for talking about her absent dad and his breakdance career (which was good enough to land him on Good Morning America and other shows).

After this viral video, the girl's father decided to tell his side of the story.

(If you don't have time to watch, I'll break it down after.)

Alright, here's the TL;DW (yeah, it's long too, sorry):

Ben Hart divorced his wife, Madi's mom, in 2004. He takes large responsibility for the divorce. He says he can understand how, to a 5-year-old, it would feel like he simply abandoned the family, but, according to him, he didn't just up and leave. It was an (unfortunately) normal divorce.

Ben went on to explain that, in the course of the divorce and alimony and child support he actually DID pay for Madi and her siblings' medical bills in contradiction to what Madi alleges. To the tune of $5 million.

But he's not mad at her for spreading what he would call misinformation.

He also said he got a divorce and then, years later, began breakdancing.

Madi's mom and I separated in 2004 and divorced in 2005. I took up breakdancing, entirely by accident, in 2012 as a way to get in shape at the age in 54.

This guy is clearly a goober because he paused the video at this point to show us some of his breakdancing moves.

In front of a giant Bitcoin flag while wearing his Bitcoin shirt.

😂😭

Elon seemed to enjoy Ben's explanation:

This is a Christian site, so it shouldn't shock you to learn that we think divorce is wrong, it's evil, and kids with trust issues like Madi are a huge reason why. This clearly traumatized her and made her distrust men.

Breakdancing Bitcoin Ben tries to make himself feel better by pointing out that all of his kids are professionally successful. And from his explanation of the $5 million paid to raise his family, it looks like he thinks paying money is the same as being a dad.

I'll let you think on that for a bit.
