NEW: Supreme Court refuses to enforce Biden’s Title IX rewrite on gender: “Would have allowed men in women’s sports”

Ah, sanity prevails.

Or, if you get your news from the hacks in the media, here's CBS telling us this will hurt all the poor boys in dresses across the nation.

In roughly half the states, laws have been passed that banned men from female sports and spaces (like locker rooms), even if those men "identify as" women - valuing the safety of women and fairness of sport over deranged male fantasies.

The Biden admin wanted to force these states to comply with gender ideology by making it illegal for any educational institution that received federal tax dollars to discriminate not only on sex, but sexual identity - a vague and ever-changing category.

To that end, Biden's people asked SCOTUS to uphold the new provisions, which were announced in April and went into effect in some states on Aug. 1.

The Supreme Court refused that request, ruling that lower court injunctions will stand.

From The Hill:

‘On this limited record and in its emergency applications, the Government has not provided this Court a sufficient basis to disturb the lower courts' interim conclusions that the three provisions found likely to be unlawful are intertwined with and affect other provisions of the rule,' according to the court's unsigned order.

This means there will be further court cases on the matter, but the Biden rule will continue to be blocked in 10 states that signed onto two lawsuits: Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

In June, federal judges ruled that the states were likely to succeed in their litigation and exempted them from Biden's order.
