Just another day in our nation's public school systems.

This time, the story comes out of Florida where a huge high school student – described as 6'6" and 270 lbs – nearly beat a teacher to death in public because she took away his Nintendo Switch.

[Violence warning]

The dude knocks the teacher unconscious immediately, you can tell by the way she just collapses to the ground.

Then he goes on to continue to beat her about the body and head, and after some pass by, others try to pull him off the teacher.

This is at Matanza's public high school in Palm Coast, Florida. Police were called to the scene and did arrest the student.

FCSO deputies responded to the high school after reports of an employee being physically attacked on campus. Upon arrival, officials found a woman on the ground with severe injuries, according to the arrest report.

When deputies spoke with the student, he explained that he was upset because the teacher took his Nintendo Switch during class.

He also told officials he will "beat her up" anytime she tries to take his game.

You can't convince me this isn't attempted murder.

And the student doesn't care, at all! He essentially told the police he would do it again!

The educator was rushed to the hospital for her injuries, according to the arrest report. She has since been released.

When Depa was escorted away by deputies, he spit at the teacher and "made comments that when he comes back he was going to kill her", according to the arrest report.

The student has been charged with felony aggravated battery with bodily harm.

Well, this dude can never set foot in another school for the rest of his life.

He has stated his intent to KILL his teacher! Do they think he's not serious?

Where's the "school-to-prison pipeline" when you need it?

The punishment ought to be swift and severe.
