Buckle up: Is this the most cringeworthy video of 2024?
· Sep 4, 2024 · NottheBee.com

I know it's a religion to people who have no faith in anything beyond earthly power. I know that they do these kinds of things in all sincerity. And, at least in terms of the kids, they do these kinds of things because they are desiring and seeking their parents' approval, but this is nevertheless painful to watch.

Just when you thought the 2024 presidential election had already reached peak-level of cringe with Kamala Harris's bizarre chameleon accent (covered yesterday by Not the Bee), a new contender from across the pond arises. Just a few warnings - do not view within an hour of eating, do not watch if operating heavy machinery, and abstain from clicking play if you are within a 100-foot radius of any other living human.

Without further delay, behold the "Marsh Family" from the UK performing their parody election song, "Gimme Hope Kamala."

  • No, I cannot explain that behavior.

  • No, I cannot fathom finishing that, stopping the recording, and then turning and even looking at each other.

  • No, I can't imagine how you transition from singing that song to, "Hey, what sounds good for supper?"

  • Frankly, I can't rationalize how you continue to live with one another under the same roof after you've witnessed each other's shame in such a profound manner.

It's exactly how all those celebrities should have felt back in 2016 when they did that "Fight Song" rendition for Hillary:

Going back to the Marsh Family presentation, obviously the parents are to blame here.

Who does this kind of thing to their kids and feels good about the job they're doing on the parenting front? Teaching your children to place their hope in the outcome of a foreign country's presidential election? Teaching your children that access to "ab-or-shee-un" is reason for that hope?

But honestly, the line that bothered me the most might have been this:

SHE WASN'T BORN INTO FANCY MONEY, OH BUT HAD A GOOD EDUCATION

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the progressive movement that is mocking the Republican VP candidate for graduating from Yale after having been born into nothing?

You simply cannot find a more impressive rags-to-riches story than that of J.D. Vance. The Left has found in that a feat to mock ... but they praise the muted version of it in Kamala's journey.

It's all hypocrisy, it's all stupidity, it's all idolatry.

Oh, and cringeworthy. Very, very cringeworthy.
