Dilbert creator Scott Adams is battling stage-four prostate cancer, one of the deadliest, and does not anticipate he has long to live.
California's hospitals are apparently making things worse.
Adams' treatment involves a drug called Pluvicto, which targets cancers cells that emit a particular hormone. Pluvicto isn't officially FDA approved yet, but has demonstrated significant improvement in Phase III clinical trials for metastasized cancer and is covered as a treatment under Trump's Right to Try Act.
Back in May, Adams posted about how President Trump had personally called him and promised to help him if he needed anything.
So, Adams called in his chips and asked President Trump for help.
Soon after, the U.S. secretary of health and human services responded to connect Adams to the president.
Then, the president responded:
The administration is going to move heaven and earth to help Adams.
We can only pray that it's enough.
