We had an open house at my kids' school this week and it was a sea of smiling faces everywhere. Whether you didn't wear a mask at all or wore one every time you left the house, most people on the planet have stopped wearing them.

In California, however, they call the police on your preschooler if they dare show up to school without one:

Can we all agree this is not just patently absurd, but morally abhorrent?

Nearly every single American has had or been exposed to Covid. Back in May, 75% of kids were showing antibodies. The more gnarly Alpha and Delta strains hardly affected kids, let alone Omicron, which barely gives them the sniffles. There are multiple vaccines for those who think they are necessary. Increased cases honestly means nada anymore.

And the studies on masks have shown time and again that the only way they feasibly work is if you have an N95 suctioned airtight against your face, not a thin cloth mask that gets washed every week or two and gets touched five times a minute by little hands.

What an absolute depraved clown show. Shame on the adults who call themselves educators at this school.
