CBS News says the country is being flooded with migrants because of climate change 🤡
· Oct 22, 2024 · NottheBee.com

Welp, it looks like CBS is out here covering for Border Czar Kamala. This time, they're saying immigration is caused by, you guessed it, climate change.

Yes, and we all know whose fault it is that climate change is still happening: Those pesky conservatives, that's who.

Not China.

Definitely not China!

Immigration is one of the top concerns for Americans in this year's presidential election. And while many are focused on the policies about how many people and who should be allowed within U.S. borders, there is little attention to what's causing people to flee their homes in the first place.

Many often think of crime and conflict as the primary drivers, and while they do play huge roles, the Migration Policy Institute has found that it's actually natural disasters that lead to more displacement worldwide.

Climate change is not the main reason why people move, the institute says, but it is increasingly part of the story. Some of the largest internal displacements in Latin America and the Caribbean in 2022 were caused by natural disasters, particularly floods. And a 2021 report found that 6% of migrant families in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras said that climate and environmental reasons were the reason for their need to immigrate.

Whoa!! Six percent?!?!

That's crazy!!

I'm glad we have CBS News here to clear things up for us. Now we can assume, unscientifically, of course, that around 720,000 of the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants that came here under Biden because their home countries are too warm.

I guess those Venezuelan gangs that are taking over apartment buildings are the victims here.

Thanks for the update, CBS News!
