If you didn't know, Nintendo is making a Zelda movie - one that made woke people angry because Nintendo refused to cast a dude in the role of Princess Zelda.
Everyone has been wondering, however, if Nintendo's 2027 film will feature cringe additions for mOdeRn aUdiEnCes, like diverse dwarves of color (looking at you, Disney).
Well, here's the first photos from the set, courtesy of Nintendo's CEO:
WAIT, WAIT, WAIT.

You are telling me, that in the Year of Our Lord 2025, we're getting a faithful movie adaptation without swapping skin colors or genitals??
They didn't even make Link gay, black, and disabled!!
Let's enhance these photos.
Link looks like ... well, Link!
And Zelda looks like Zelda! She even has little Triforce patterns on her shirt:
For years, Hollywood has been churning out slop that makes fantasy-action series look identical to each other. Amazon's Ring of Power looks like Wheel of Time, which looks like Netflix's The Witcher, and so on and so forth.
Everything in modern cinema has a glossy, CGI-enhanced feel full of forced characters that look like a group of cosplayers you'd find at a gay bar in New York City.
Because the Zelda movie is actually sticking with the source material and the feel of its fictional universe, people didn't have to make fun of it for being cringe and woke.
Instead, fans were able to make fun of it out of love π

The wokies, however, were quick to note that ... one of the producers has ties to Israel! π₯΄
I mean...

Nintendo, there's always time to change your mind and make your characters fake and gay!
