CNN is having a normal one today

It truly is a normal day for the CNN circus:

One of the sad facts about anti-Black racism is that Black people ourselves are not immune to its pernicious effects. Society's message that Black people are inferior, unworthy and dangerous is pervasive. Over many decades, numerous experiments have shown that these ideas can infiltrate Black minds as well as White. Self-hatred is a real thing.

Black people are actually venerated in our society. All of Wall Street, academia, Hollywood, and the White House are geared toward elevating black people as status symbols in society.

The lie that America hates black people and are unworthy is one built on a perpetual victimhood grift. These woke journalists are the ones with the self-hatred.

That's why a Black store owner might regard customers of his same race with suspicion, while treating his White patrons with deference. Black people can harbor anti-Black sentiments and can act on those feelings in harmful ways.

Alternatively, black store owners might view other black individuals with suspicion because well over 90% of all crimes committed against black people (including murder) are committed by black criminals.

In short, racial animus can still be a factor, even when the perpetrators are all Black. And that's especially true if these actions are a part of a broader pattern and practice within the Memphis Police Department.

It's a sad fact, but one that's old as time itself: People often oppress people who look just like them. The vast majority of human rights abuses are committed by people who look exactly like the people they are abusing.

Wait, are you telling me that black people have the capacity to be just as racist and violent and evil as the rest of us, and that the whole CRT-Marxist idea of the hierarchies of the oppressed is hogwash?

Careful, now: Next you'll be saying that the Left's welfare state has created a fatherless epidemic in black homes, that public education is keeping black kids trapped in poverty, and that we need values like hard work, responsibility, and liberty to free black communities from the grifters that tell them everything is about race!
