You simply can't make it up, folks. I dare you to even try.

[Michigan State Sen. Mallory McMorrow]: [U]nder Project 2025, Donald Trump would be able to weaponize the Department of Justice to go after his political opponents. He could even turn the FBI into his own personal police force.

Excuse me for a minute:

Surely we haven't all forgotten the FBI's absurdist raid of Trump's home just a few short years ago!

And doubtlessly we all remember the feds authorizing the use of deadly force in that raid!

Nor will we have forgotten the open-ended, endless Justice Department campaign to investigate Trump for "Russian collusion," an investigation that even the lead investigator said was essentially unwarranted!

We could go on and on here but I think you get the point.

I'm kinda thinking Democrats are just afraid Trump might use the federal government in the exact same way they have.
