Fed makes first interest-rate cut since 2020 amid continuing inflation worries (it is election season, after all!)
· Sep 18, 2024 · NottheBee.com

You know what you probably shouldn't do in the midst of continued inflation and dismal job numbers?

Cut interest rates to stimulate spending, which will cause more inflation.

You know what the Federal Reserve is doing?

Thanks to all of you who cared enough to read this and understand why it's a big deal that the central planners are up to more shenanigans.

Lots of people are out here asking if this will actually help people since things are so bad right now.

But you're forgetting something. They don't need to take away people's financial pain. All they need to do is take away a bit of the misery for them to feel happy about the economy through Election Day.

Because friends, don't you understand?

The timing here isn't an accident. A month ago, the government acknowledged it's been fudging the jobs reports because it needed to show the economy is actually having troubles to justify a rate cut.

Now, just a handful of weeks before the most contested election in American history, it's going to loosen its grip on your wallet and future.

Because to them, this election is between joyful utopia on earth:

And Literal Hitler:

And if people understood how bad the economy actually is, they might not vote for the approved candidate.
