Looking forward to that new "Elder Scrolls" game?
What about now?
With the caption "good kitty," the video features a clip of the 2024 game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, published by Bethesda. In the clip, Indiana Jones pets a cat and says, "Nice place. You don't care about these Fascists, do you?"
Was it a harmless post about the game, or was the purposeful isolation of the reference to fascists a nod to Charlie Kirk?
Were these terminally-online game publishers referencing the suspected assassination's use of "furry" language? The suspect maintained an account on "Fur Affinity," an online community of furries, who like to dress up as animals. On one of his bullet casings, he wrote "Notices bulge, OwO what's this?", a slang expression of surprise with underlying sexual innuendo. "OwO" refers to the look a cat gives when it is surprised.

According to officials, the shooter also wrote "Hey Fascist, Catch This!" on the bullet casing that actually killed Kirk. Since his death, thousands of people have come out of the woodwork to celebrate and justify his death, referring to him with that label. The director of the FBI and governor of Utah have confirmed that the suspect has been heavily indoctrinated by leftwing ideology.
Bethesda, which has produced major games such as "Skyrim," "Fallout," and "Starfield," is one of the largest game publishers on the planet. It also has notably vocal left-wing staff.
This is a woman (I think, could easily be trans) named Marisa who is reportedly an art producer for the company. She had multiple retweets of posts that either dismissed Charlie Kirk's murder or low-key celebrated it:
Gamer culture uses a variety of whimsical memes and references. Where that intersects with Marxist ideology, LGBT ideology, and furry fetishes, it quickly gets both sexual and violent.
Was this post from Bethesda a "milkshake" troll meant to poke fun at those who are mourning the death of a devoted Christian father and husband who has been labeled a "fascist" for believing normal, baseline beliefs held by the majority of Americans?
Those who follow the gaming industry seem to think so:
Far be it from me to stop Bethesda if it wants to show just how radical it is and bankrupt itself in the process!
