A Texas law enforcement association put up two highway billboards last week, warning motorists driving into Austin that Democrats have defunded the police in their city and civilians should he aware of that and enter at their own risk.

And they're not exactly subtle!

"WARNING! AUSTIN POLICE DEFUNDED. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!"

The power move was executed by the Texas Municipal Police Association after the Austin City Council voted in August to slash the police department's budget by $150 million.

Good on 'em.
