And this is just the people who cared enough to formally register.
Yup.
In case you missed that headline, here it is:
"More than 1 million voters switch to GOP in warning for Dems"
More than 1 million voters across 43 states have switched to the Republican Party over the last year, according to voter registration data analyzed by The Associated Press. The previously unreported number reflects a phenomenon that is playing out in virtually every region of the country.
To those of you who've been with us here on our journey at Not the Bee for the past two years, or just people who've been paying attention in general, this should come as no surprise.
This is because the Left has become an embarrassment to the majority of Americans in recent years—a stain on our name.
In the old days of like 15 years ago, the Left had been a place for intellectual discussion and debate; a place where modern solutions to modern problems were contrived; a place where the cool kids hung out and actually felt good about what they were doing.
But the Left of today is anything but that. If anything, they come off more like that screaming toddler you see in line at the grocery store trying to get a candy bar. The one whose mother simply throws the Snickers bar on the belt, hoping the dollar and a half she spends will be enough to keep the kid quiet and obedient for a while.
Spoiler alert: It's never enough, and there'll be more crying shortly.
Anyhow, due to this shift occurring on the American Left, it looks like about a million voters have decided to switch over to the GOP over the past year. And while one million voters might not seem like a lot, it's important to note where these changes are occurring.
But nowhere is the shift more pronounced — and dangerous for Democrats — than in the suburbs, where well-educated swing voters who turned against Trump's Republican Party in recent years appear to be swinging back. Over the last year, far more people are switching to the GOP across suburban counties from Denver to Atlanta and Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Republicans also gained ground in counties around medium-size cities such as Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Raleigh, North Carolina; Augusta, Georgia; and Des Moines, Iowa…
While party switching is not uncommon, the data shows a definite reversal from the period while Trump was in office, when Democrats enjoyed a slight edge in the number of party switchers nationwide.
The Democratic Party is increasingly out of touch with the general public, and if they don't get it together this trend will continue.
Sure, they'll call it white supremacy.
They'll call it bigotry.
They'll call it anything besides what it actually is: A failure of their own making.
Get ready for more whining, people.
Because Republicans are about to run this country for the next 20 years.
