Another day, another illegal immigrant committing heinous crimes against young women in America. This one out of Florida.
Dude just strolled across the border undetected in 2023 - no contact with Border Patrol or any sort of law enforcement - and made his way to Palm Beach, where he is now being charged with raping a 13-year-old girl.
Detectives say they located an undocumented immigrant matching the description of a wanted man accused of sexually assaulting a teenager in West Palm Beach on Jan. 3.
The suspect, Santo Omar Martinez-Varela, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on counts of sexual assault of a minor and false imprisonment.
On Jan. 3, deputies say that Martinez-Varela approached a 13-year-old girl near Pinehurst Park and Forest Hill Blvd in West Palm Beach around 11 p.m. and began to forcibly sexually assault her.
This next part is terrible, but it's part of the report: DNA technology led detectives to Martinez-Varela and "confirmed the suspects identity."
Martinez-Varela is a Honduran national, and like many criminals from south of the border, he knew he could just stroll right into our country without any repercussions.
Border policies (or lack thereof) have consequences.
