In a shocking, completely unpredictable and utterly courageous move that is being widely described as both "stunning" and "brave," EA Sports has announced that they will add Colin Kaepernick to Madden NFL 21 as a "starting-caliber quarterback."

For those who don't know why this is such a heroic development, Kaepernick was the face of the anti-establishment, kneel-for-the-anthem movement that swept the nation long before rioting and looting and assault were in style. He stuck it to the man long before such a thing was praised by sitting government officials or lauded by the mainstream media.

And he hasn't played pro football in four years.

That's why it's such a shocking twist for EA to do something that aligns itself so perfectly with the new PC narrative. It's so ... well ... brave of them!

And let's not forget to mention that Kaep won't just be in the game, but he will be a "starting-caliber quarterback." Despite not being a professional quarterback. He's just such a great playe— uhh, social justice warrior that he really should be in the league, regardless of actual ability to throw a football!

EA had this to say about the addition...

Knowing that our EA SPORTS experiences are platforms for players to create, we want to make Madden NFL a place that reflects Colin's position and talent, rates him as a starting QB, and empowers our fans to express their hopes for the future of football...

Because, remember folks, FEELINGS matter more than facts. I'm so proud of EA for realizing this, and including a sub-par footballer as one of the league's elite.

What a move!
