You gotta love the UK, specifically London, where the "inclusive" Muslim Charity Run took place on Sunday -- a charity race which excluded women as well as teenage girls.

Not satire:

The "inclusive" event was organized by East London Mosque, one of the largest mosques in Western Europe.

The Muslim Charity Run, which was held in Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets on Sunday, said on its website: 'Our inclusive atmosphere ensures that every individual, from the youngest to the oldest, can take part and make a difference.'

It added: 'This is open to men, boys of all ages and girls under 12, but everyone is welcome at the park to cheer on the runners.'

Quite literally, the "inclusive" run "limited participation in the race to men, boys[,] and girls under 12."

They did this, of course, for religious reasons, as females over 12 have become religiously accountable and are to dress modestly in the presence of non-related men. In conservative circles this could mean covering the entire body, including the face.

Oh, and the Muslim mayor of Tower Hamlets handed out prizes at the conclusion of the race.

Here's the race, where they at least allowed women and teenage girls to cheer on the males.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission is now to assess the charity run to see if it violated the Equality Act.
