Nothing to see here, just some liberals wearing the skinsuit of Christianity to stop federal law enforcement officials from arresting criminals.

According to CBS News, the group left from Saint Eulalia Catholic Church in Maywood, Illinois, on Saturday and included several priests, including Father Larry Dowling, the retired pastor of the St. Simon of Cyrene Parish.

The group with the Coalition for Spiritual and Public Leadership walked about a mile to the ICE facility, in hopes of giving those inside holy communion. But to get in was a major hurdle.

They just suddenly showed up to the detention facility and peacefully demanded entry (which anyone who has ever worked in prison ministry will tell you is not how it works).

The officers were polite, even radioing to see if the priest(s) could go into the facility to give prisoners communion. In Catholic theology, only those who have been baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church and have confessed mortal sins (like trespassing into a foreign nation, or stealing, raping, trafficking, and murdering) can receive the Eucharist.

Weird how they were only there to bring the Eucharist to illegal aliens and not their fellow Americans, the ICE agents who are putting their lives on the line in service to their country every single day.

What an insult to faithful Catholics.
