Aaaand cue the leftist tears:
Indiana's Governor Eric Holcomb just signed a bill into law that would prevent minors from being preyed upon in the form of "gender-affirming" bodily mutilations.
Indiana joins 11 other states in protecting young people from groomer doctors and therapists.
The bill not only outlaws bodily mutilation in the form of surgeries, but also prevents children from taking cross-sex hormones and chemical castration drugs that trans activists refer to as "puberty blockers."
This is a big win for conservatives in Indiana.
Before Wednesday, the Republican governor called the bill "clear as mud" and said he wasn't sure if he would sign it, and that it was not part of his political agenda.
But in the last 24 hours, he came around on the issue, and as of July 1, trans surgeries and hormone treatments will be outlawed in Indiana.
Even moderate Republicans like Holcomb are coming to their senses on this issue.
