White House press secretary Jen Psaki let this cat out of the bag on Monday, but it was a cat most people with a working brain had already surmised:

Turns out, Biden chats over the phone with Obama frequently about a whole bunch of things.

Two years, conservatives were semi-joking that a Biden administration would really be Obama's third term, but between the hastening of Biden's cognitive decline and "his" picks for his Cabinet (Hint: they're pretty much all former Obama officials), the memes calling Obama the puppeteer have only increased.

Here was Psaki's response to a question that asked if Obama had visited the White House:

"They consult and talk about a range of issues and I would expect that continues through the course of President Biden's presidency. That can be done over the phone it turns out, and I think if President Obama had been here, you would all know."
