A Newscientist article from January 2020 has gone viral on reddit, and it is pretty incredible to sit back and imagine yourself just living your life 7 months ago, so innocent and naive to what was about to happen. Imagine a time when you could go down a grocery store aisle anyway you wanted, no masks in sight or for sale, having to make up an excuse for events you didn't want to attend. What a wonderful, magical world that was.
We've been through so much together in the last 7 months, it's hard to keep it all straight. We've experienced Tiger King, viral zoom backgrounds, many Karens, "WW3", a toilet paper shortage, oh and the Pentagon released UFO videos...and that's just the "lighthearted list".
In the next few months, we will be welcoming babies conceived and born in quarantine and overwhelmed with "We didn't stay 6 feet away" baby announcements.
On the bright side we still have 4 more months of 2020 so there is still time for redemption.
