If you're out of the loop, Elon started charging $8 a month to be verified on Twitter as one of his strategies to keep the company from hemorrhaging money after he purchased it and realized how bad the books were.
These celebrities and journalists would pay $15 for a speciality coffee, but they are complaining that people will LITERALLY DIE if they aren't granted elite status above the common rabble.
Correction: We USED TO value the critical role of journalists in society today.
But then the journalists went and lied to us for years and years and years so their favored political policies could rule over us. They lied about Trump, about Covid, about George Floyd and racial issues, about Christians, about apolitical moms who don't want gay sex in the classroom, about the way Twitter and the FBI worked together to spy on Americans, about the vaccines and masks, about lockdowns, about China, about the economy, about politicians, about riots, about J6, and about 17-year-olds trying to protect themselves.
The same goes for the celebrities who have used their fame to try to enslave and degrade their countrymen.
You guys still expect free favors?
We do need journalists, Julie. But like the "journalists" who once stumped for King George III during America's founding, you failed. You became propaganda mouthpieces.
