A White House official confirmed the trip, saying Harris is going to Nashville to lift "the voices" of thousands of young votes who have led massive demonstrations at the Tennessee state Capitol to change gun laws but haven't swayed the state's Republican majority. Harris is expected to arrive Friday afternoon.
