"I'm on fire for Jesus": Kat Von D tells Allie Stuckey why she left the occult. We've got the highlights.

Kat Von D (Katherine von Drachenberg) is a celebrity tattoo artist who appeared on the TLC show LA Ink. Known for her dark persona, she created quite a stir last year when she posted a picture of all of her New Age/occult materials that she threw out. Last month, she did the same when she posted a video of her baptism.

Kat just sat down with Allie Beth Stuckey on her podcast Relatable to share more of her testimony, her past struggles with addiction, and why she left the New Age.

Here's a clip that Allie shared to her Instagram:

The Lord has clearly been working in Von D's heart for a long time, and it's beautiful to hear her describe the change in her life as a result.

Here's what Von D says she was looking for when she was going to church. It's pretty insightful:

I'm on fire for Jesus, I don't see this dimming out. The more I learn the more I get excited for things and the more at ease I am about what's happening in this world.

Kat also spoke about her husband who has not given his life to Christ and encouraged Christians to love him and not attack him for his unbelief.

Here's how Kat Von D describes her life as a Christian. It seems to be a pretty good explanation of sanctification to me:

I feel like I'm the best wife and the best mother I can be now because of the changes that I've had. I mean … it's like a deprogramming has taken place. Things that I used to find attractive are disgusting to me, you know? And it's like, I wish I could put into words like how amazing those changes are.

Praise God for how he is working in the life of Kat Von D! Pray for her as she continues to grow in her new faith in Christ.
