The gubernatorial race for the failed state of California is heating up.

Republican candidate and conservative radio host Larry Elder has zipped past His Highness Gavin Newsom the Preened in Google results recently, showing that the average citizen is curious about this guy the mainstream media and Hollywood have told them they should hate.

Elder has surged past Newsom in Google search inquiries over the last two weeks, according to Google Trends, suggesting that Newsom's most prominent Republican challenger for his job is growing in notoriety as Election Day approaches.

When broken down, the search data shows the top three related searches for Elder are "Larry Elder for governor," "Larry Elder running for governor," and "Larry Elder for governor website."

Well, at least Gavin is getting a little love, right?

Meanwhile, the top related searches for Newsom revolved around his highly-publicized French Laundry scandal, with "Gavin Newsom French Laundry" taking the top spot.

Ouch.

I'm sure His Eminence is already planning a way to stop this troubling disturbance in the Force.

That might not be so easy though.

Larry Elder also secured the endorsement of California's former state senate majority leader.

What's so special about that, you ask?

Well, she's a Democrat, a Latina, and a woman โ€“ three intersectional qualities the Left fears!

So we've got a black man who likes freedom supported by a liberal Latina woman versus a divisive white guy who loves hair gel and wants to tax everyone, lock them in their homes, and take away their guns.

Sounds like an easy choice to me!
